queen for a day

Remember that old show? Well, actually neither do I. But I do remember hearing about it anyway -lol!

The queen for today is none other than Queen & Co! I have been having so much fun blog hopping and seeing what is being released at CHA this weekend. I found my way to the Queen & Co. blog today and as always just love everything! I'm only the teeniest bit jealous of my friend Kristin who gets to play with their stuff all the time.

I was also impressed to read that Queen & Co. is downscaling their packaging in favor of more earth-friendly approach (can you say bulk embellishments?) With the theme for this year's CHA show being "It’s Easy Being Green: Discover the Possibilities" I imagine there will be similar changes from other manufacturers as well.

Somehow I really missed the boat on taking pics in this booth. I don't know if it was just that I was so excited to see all of Kristin's creations or what. Anyway, these are the few I did snap:

cupcake scrapshop

I am in love with a fabulous kit club, Cupcake Scrapshop. This is a kit that I have been ogling for sometime now. It's one of those clubs where everytime the new month's kit debuts I look at it and it seems like it was put together just for me.

So, I bought one a la carte a few months ago and it is wonderful. I don't remember what month this is from, but here's a layout from the kit with a few of my own stash goodies (sorry, the title is kinda wonky from my picky scanner):


So recently I took what seemed the logical and inevitable next step, and put my name on the waiting list (sub list was full). I'm happy to say that as of this month, I'm a full-fledged cupcake member. Woo hoo!
