signed, sealed, delivered

I'm DONE! Got my last ShopHop passport stamp at Scrapbook Blvd. in Victorville today and headed straight back to my home store to drop it off before anything could happen to it. Whew! Totally fun experience shop hopping all over creation, but I'm glad to be done.

So, I thought I'd share some of my fun finds and experiences of the the last week. As I posted in an earlier entry, I had good intentions of not starting the hop until Sunday (to give me time to make a big dent in my regular to do list). I caved tho and skipped out late Saturday to pop into Scrapping Lounge, Montclair and Stamp Your Heart Out, Claremont. They are both great stores and it is handy to have them so close to home.

The Lounge has a real retro flair with a rat-pack feel. Lots of cool icons throughout (and ya gotta check out the uber cool bathrooms!) Another great reason to drop by the lounge is to see the super friendly owner Debbie AND my very own sister Cath who teaches classes, creates store samples, and works the register.

Here is what I picked up at the Lounge:
I'm a real sucker for rubons and I just love these intricate designs from Chatterbox (pink & orange in upper right). I grabbed a set of Fancy Pants rubons too. Aren't they cute? Lastly, the die cut tea cup stickers and sheet of coordinating paper are for a fun little board book project I've got planned. I got the idea from Ever After in their booth at San Diego Expo. It'll be perfect for photos of my neice's tea party a couple of years back. Can't wait to get started on this one!

Stamp Your Heart Out is a fun little store. I had never been inside of it - tho I'd been to their sister store (now closed). It was across the way from SYHO and was more of a SB stop while this store has more of a stamping slant. Well, it really is a stampers dream. Lots and lots of stamps, inks and all that goes with. I especiallly enjoyed the vintage stuff (yes, I'm a sucker for old stuff!) Here is what I picked up at SYHO:

Those patterned papers are from Rusty Pickle. I resisted buying them when they were brand new, but now that they are an "older" pattern I wanted to grab a couple of sheets while I still could. The little ATC Collection pads are just fun ephemera that I haven't seen before. I'm thinking they'll be great for cards or heritage layouts. OH! And I almost forgot... I ran into some friends while I was there too, so that was fun. (Hi Mary Jo and Virginia!)

Both stores sent me away with a free mk-n-tk too, so that is always cool. I haven't had time to put them together yet but hoping I can get to them soon.

Well, that's all for now. But check back soon because I'm going to be adding more post-ShopHop entries.

Thanks for visiting us at the Lounge! Yes, we are known for our "Magic Rooms" Some have said that they actually saw Elvis and Audrey in the mirror! (shhhh)
And of course any chance we can spend together is nice. LOVE YOU!

Love the peek at what you bought at the two stores. I am always curious what other scrapbook stores carry and this is a great way to see, by visiting your bloga and the other Good Time Girls blogs. Love the cards! Too cute!
