summer days

Browsing thru last year's photo albums, got me on a kinda nostalgic kick. Thought I'd share my Very First SGT Project. This page was part of a paper bag album done as a progressive make-n-take.

Let me tell you I was SOooooo nervous with this one. Worried that it wouldn't "go" with the rest of the book, or that it was just too simple a design. Nervous too about teaching it since I'd never taught before.

As it turned out, the event was a total blast. There were WAY more people than I ever expected to see, everyone was wonderful and the night went off without a hitch.

Now I'm thinking I need to scraplift myself on this one -lol! BTW, here's the cover of the PBA:

Cindy that is such a cute project! I love that you are so huble and down-to-earth about your talent. It is very refreshing and I think that also makes you a really great teacher. You are patient with people who may not be as talented as you and I love that you do that. Plus you do such great work!

Again, another fond memory of our first Progressive Make-N-Take with the SGT Design/Employee Team. So much fun we had, and boy were we exhausted. Our customers loved it and asked for more. We've come a long way since then. Scraplifting from you is always a fun experience.
