nothing exciting here

What an uneventful week I am having. No complaints mind you-eventful can sometimes mean stress or even negative events, so I'm okay with uneventful. Not to say it's been a quiet week. I actually have been running lots of little errands and been super busy.

One thing I worked on earlier in the week is prepping kits for my next class on Sunday, September 30. It is an "Intro to Scrapbooking" class. I haven't offered the class since February, so I'm really excited to teach one again. The class mix varies but usually includes a few people who have never scrapped at all and it is just so exciting to help new scrappers get started with the hobby.

For the 9/30 Intro session, the class project is a two page Disneyland themed layout. How fun is that? Most of us SoCal folks have lots and LOTS of D-land pics waiting to be scrapped, right? (A big shoutout to Pat M. for suggesting the Disneyland theme. Thanks, girl!!)

The layout is in classic Disney colors - red, black & gold using papers from Reminisce and Creative Imaginations. So.... if you are new to scrapping OR maybe you have a friend who would like to get started scrapping, then check out the class details at Scrappin' Good Times. There are still a few spots left in the Intro class as of yesterday.

BTW, these Mickey cards really have nothing to do with the class, I just think they're cute.
