thrifting

I made a quick stop at the thrift store trying to find one last item for my costume for tonight's party. This is a different store than the one I checked in at earlier in the week. Time was tight, but I took a quick cruise down a few aisles and found some goodies. A brand new box of curly ribbon from IKEA (love the colors); a metal pedestal bowl; silver plated cake serving untensils, a crystal relish dish and a gorgeous turquoise shell dish.

The true test of a good purchase is if I like it even better once I get it home. Happy to say, that I like all of these plenty now that they're in the house.
